Weekend recap...
Alles Gute zum Geburtstag, nachträglich,
[livejournal.com profile] cassy79&[livejournal.com profile] ninscha!
Viel Freude in eurem neuen Lebensjahr und einen großen Geschenkkorb voller Glück von mir. :D

Regina and I went to see St. David's. We took the train from Cardiff to Haverfordwest and from there the bus to St David's. It is indeed... small.
After we'd seen the Cathedral and everything we walked to Whitesands and St Davids Head. At the later we put up our camp.
We staid the night and walked back to St David's the next morning. From there we walked past St Non's and along the coast to Solva. There we had lunch, waited for the bus back to the station in Haverfordwest and took the train home.
I left home o900 on Saturday and came back 1900 yesterday.

Pictures

St. David's Cathedral - not quite my style. :-/

Me hiking. LoL!

Whitesands. There were so many people surfing there! O.O We had about an hour of a nap there.

St. David's Head. Not much to see there, but rocks...

A beautiful sunset - but believe me when I say it was freezing!

Me again, this time in my (borrowed) sleeping bag. It was comfy and warm...

A beautiful next morning!

A shipwreck, along the coast. I didn't even see it at first, Regina pointed it out to me.

Solva, at last! We literally just turned a corner and suddenly saw it. XD

All in all I reckon we hiked about 10-12 miles on two days? Not bad, I daresay...

Doctor Who
Kill me, but this ep was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better that "Silence in the Library". It actually scared me. And it had ridiculous human group behaviour. And an open end. The way it was written I wondered for a few minutes if it was a two-parter (=not good) but then the end. MWAH! If they leave the episode just like that (and the mean thingy doesn't come back, what I'm afraid is going to happen) it could be one of my favs!

And you might have noticed my new layout.
There are so many foxgloves around here, I just love them! And I remembered this Casanova quote and it just tickled me. I still need to change a few colours but I'm happy with what I got. (Even if I had to create a new layout to get rid of that damn base-layout in bloggish when creating a new theme-layer...)

It looks so pretty! I'm glad you had fun.

I think this DW ep was my favourite this season. I missed Donna and it was a bit reminiscent of "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street" but I think they did a good job of translating it for DW so that worked out. :)
