I don't like surprises.
Of course, it was a nice surprise when I came home today from walking the dogs and had just taken off my shoes when the postman rung the doorbell and handed me a package. Strangely enough he didn't have problems with my last name, but he somehow couldn't quite read your handwriting, dear. *snicker* So he was struggling with "Monika". *lol*

Anyway, to the surprises I don't like:
Jayne during breakfast: "I have a surprise for you and Duke. Next week. *wink* You'll be a very happy Monika."
Then to Nick: "Should I tell her?"
Nick voted against it.
Note these words: surprise, next week, happy.
I love good surprises, but I'm not sure what I should think of this. What do I say if I don't like it? I don't have the remotest idea what it could be about. The one thing that I know it is not going to be is going to the DW exhibition in Cardiff, because we're going this weekend.
Next week. I have to wait at least 3 days? She could have told me much later and I wouldn't have to worry 72 hours.
Happy. Do I look unhappy? Erm. Well, anyway. As I said, what if it isn't as good as Jayne thinks it is? Knowing her it could be totally terrific, but since I have to wait I'm most certainly going to calm myself down about it and I'm not sure if I can get properly excited next week. GAH!

Duke made me a card in nursery, yesterday, to apologise for the TARDIS incident.

And tomorrow night I'm going out. And Jayne is going to do make-up for me for that.
"We'll make you look like a girl."
I'm afraid.
