2 weeks down, 10 to go...
2 weeks of basic military training.
But today I got my silver braid (symbolising my status as officer to-be). It's hard training, I'm so tired and sometimes I don't want to go on, but I still want to do it. If I didn't I wouldn't go back. I'd have gone long before now.
Yesterday I got up around o500, like every day. Then we started marching home around midnight(~7km) and took 80min. For our 5km march we took 52min. I twisted my ankle(s) twice (on unsteady ground) or so and now my left ankle is a bit swollen.
In two weeks I have my swearing-in ceremony. oo
But we started working on the G36 (same gun used by Gwen&Ianto in "Stolen Earth"), disassembling, reassembling, security checks... I can't wait for the shooting.

Tomorrow I have to buy loads of stuff (but today I ordered myself a black 160GB iPod). Did I mention that today my first pay was on my bank account?

Mwahahahahahahaha! Too much rock for one hand!

I really admire you for the courage to join the military. Good luck & I hope your ankle gets better soon <3

I laughed so hard at the whole Martha in Germany part :D

It was so strange to understand both parts of the conversation. But I loved it. Nuremberg. Bwahahahahaha! *is totally rocked*

Yup, thought so, too - quite practical though :D
Still, I was surprised that there were no subtitles - it must be very confusing if you only understand half of it...

I guess, it's even more hilarious, if you live (near) there :D

And I had to think of you when I watched that scene. *gg*

Hehe, das ist doch noch annehmbar!^^ In meinem Studiengang Japanischkurs waren wir 40 Leute am Anfang, übrig geblieben sind davon schätzungsweise... 10? Allerhöchstens 15. Und das ist auch so die normale Quote.^^;;

Allerdings werden wir natürlich auch nicht bezahlt. ~.^

Yay for the training! I'm glad it's going well. And double yay! for paycheck.

I thought of you when I saw that. And when I heard the daleks speaking German.
