He's performing tonight! omgwtfkthxbye *_____*
... and what I came for: 07.01.09
Actually got up at nine. Hehe. Aaaaanyways. I planned to see the Science Museum and that I did. Tried to find Covent Garden Station, failed like woah and then walked to Holborn. Hopped on the Picadilly Line, got off at South Kensington and - é voila - the Science Museum!
It opened at 10 and I was there, dunno, half past or so, so it wasn't too crowded – then. School kids came in and turned the whole thing a bit meh for me. But then it was interesting and funny and I have to say that Dr T's experiments can't compete with this stuff. Sorry.
Also, they have a temporal exhibition about plastics, called Plasticity. Guess what they have there: electric plastics. I've been 'fighting' with Dr T about their existence – he refuses to acknowledge that an electron can pass from one polymer string to another within the plastic. Even the fact that electric plastics are already in use for OLEDs, warming socks and things like that can't convince him.
But that was just a bit of the huge selection of things displayed. Man, I could have spent days in there. Actually, I spent 5 hours in there.
And, the fact that the admission was free was quite good after the Tower yesterday (14 pounds) and the Abercrombie and Fitch raid (I'm not gonna kiss and tell about how much that cost me). Still, I bought quite some stuff from the shop(s) – geek toys, how could I resist?
Now I'll have a shower and get ready for tonight.
After all David Tennant is performing. I repeat, David Tennant is performing tonight. *strike*

To be honest? I'm glad David is well enough to get back on stage (and that you get to see him, of course!^^), but... I kinda feel sorry for Ed Bennett now.^^; He was such a good Hamlet and would have deserved to continue the last few days, too!^^;;;

P.S.: Have fun, of course!^^

Can't say anything about Ed Bennett as Hamlet (his Laertes seemed so sober) - but DT just was the Hamlet I've been looking for all my life ('cept for the fact that he isn't blond).
